From Matteo Garbelotto Ph.D. of U.C. Berkeley: "We are launching some exciting new programs in conjunction with the upcoming SOD Blitzes. In particular, the OakSTeP program will provide an easy and super affordable way to test oaks for SOD, something that currently is extremely complicated and costly. We also offer free participation to professional in any of the SOD blitzes, so that their clients' properties can be tested for free. Finally, we are launching a new database of what is been done to control SOD and where: this could be very useful once some data has been uploaded on the database, as it may indicate the best approaches to control SOD in different parts of the State."
Tree care professionals are encouraged to participate. Please click "Additional Information" for the official press release.
