Rick Mitchell

Rick has been in the structural pest control industry since 1985 and is currently employed with Clark Pest Control in Salinas as a Commercial Accounts Manager. He is a resident of Salinas and has served on the PAPA Ventura planning committee and currently service on the Salinas planning committee. He has served on the Board of Director’s for PAPA from 2002 to present. Rick has spoke at numerous PAPA seminars throughout the state on pest management issues and specializes in pest management strategies for food processing.

Rick also serves as Chairman for the County of Monterey, Food Safety Advisory Council and the Hartnell College Food Safety Curriculum Committee. He is also active in the Salinas community. He has volunteered with the California Rodeo in Salinas since 1978 and currently serves as Security Chairman. He is also a Volunteer Firefighter with the Spreckels Volunteer Fire Company.

Rick is married to his wife Stacey and has three children John, Katherine and Steven and a Jack Russell Terrier named, “Rio.” In his spare time he is an avid golfer and also enjoys hunting and fishing.
