Onis Lentz

Onis Lentz is a retired school administrator as the Director of School Operations and Business Services and retired Air Force Meteorologist.

While employed with Merced Kings View Work Experience Center as the Director of Operations Onis obtained his Pesticide Qualified Applicators Certificate and became active on PAPA seminar planning committees in northern California and presently serving a second year as a PAPA board of directors member and committee chairperson developing the PAPA 5 year strategic plan. Onis is a certified trainer of pesticide handlers and agricultural fieldworker pesticide safety program by statewide IPM program. Onis has a business license for his ATMER landscaping and gardening management services.

Onis' community activities include a member of the executive board of the local boy scout council, city of Atwater ACAUSE Committee, Merced city community emergency response team member, and selected as Merced County volunteer of the year in 2006, and past Lt. Governor for Cal-Nev-Ha Kiwanis. Onis has also served on a city traffic commission, served as a member of the Calif. Elks Lodge boy scouting committee. Married, son, granddaughters, great grand children....
